The news continued to be bad for The Vampire Diaries Season 6 last night, as Episode 2 of the drama brought in 1.7 million total viewers and scored a 0.7 among 18-49-year olds.
The latter figure represented a 22 percent decline in television's most important demographic.
Elsewhere on The CW, Reign held firm with last Thursday's premiere numbers, garnering 1.1 million households.

Elsewhere around the dial…
- ABC's Shondaland juggernaut finally slowed down a bit, as Grey’s Anatomy Season 11 Episode 3 (8.4 million/2.4) and Scandal Season 4 Episode 3 (9.5 million/3.0) both slipped 11 percent, while How to Get Away With Murder (10.7 mil/3.1) fell 6 percent in the advertiser-friendly demographic.
- On Fox, Bones held steady with 6.3 million and a 1.5, though Gracepoint (3.9 mil/0.9) dropped 19 and 25 percent, respectively. This network is in SERIOUS trouble overall so far this fall.
- On NBC, Bad Judge (5.2 million/1.3) held all of its demographic from last week’s premiere, while A to Z lost 25 percent of its original audience. The Biggest Loser (4.6 million/1.2) dropped a tenth and Parenthood remained flat at 4.3 million/1.3.
