Criminal Minds Sneak Peek: Did They Say Floyd Feylinn Ferell?

Mmmmm. Can you smell it?

It's the sweet smell of stewed barbeque. 

But this barbeque isn't anything you'd ever want to eat, not unless you are notorious killer Floyd Feylinn Ferell.

Do you remember him? He was a gruesome fellow who killed and grilled his victims so he could serve them in a tasty stew in the restaurant where he worked.

The episode was Criminal Minds Season 3, "Lucky," marked the BAU's first encounter with the cannibalistic killer and also a terrible time during Garcia's life.

Garcia went on a date with a man she thought was one of the good eggs, only to later discover the former sheriff was a budding serial killer.

When she made an offhand comment that he mistook to mean she was onto his identity and criminal behavior, he uttered, "I've been waiting to do this all night," before shooting Penelope in the chest.

While it doesn't seem like we'll be seeing any direct connection to her date/killer James Colby Baylor aka Jason Clark Battle, the similarity between the killer the team is hunting killing and eating like Ferell will stir up emotions for Garcia.

Even though she plays it tough, Garcia is a softy at heart, and while the team is away, we have already learned her good friend and pal Derek Morgan will return to her side when she needs him the most.

"Lucky Strikes" will feature not only the return of Shemar Moore as Morgan, but Jamie Kennedy as Ferell, as well.

Will the latter be in prison or flashbacks? We have no idea, but why would we want to know ahead of time anyway?
