Game of Thrones Season 6: First Footage!

Following the release of a poster and then an actual teaser, HBO has come out and shared the first footage from Game of Thrones Season 6.

Granted, it's brief. And it's not exactly revealing.

But, hey, like we said: it's footage from Game of Thrones Season 6!

The action is part of a lengthy video that celebrates the network's success in 2015 and also previews a few shows and seasons to come in 2016.

Among that preview is a few seconds from the sixth season of its biggest series, as we see:

• A concerned, disheveled Daenerys.
• A short-haired Cersei giving Tommen a rare motherly hug.
• A glimpse of Ramsay Bolton leading his men.

No, we're sorry to say there isn't a shot of Jon Snow, despite the VERY strong rumor that he will come back from the dead this spring.

This Game of Thrones poster didn't do much to dispel that rumor.

New episodes of this epic drama will premiere in early April and your first Season 6 footage is featured around the 2:15 mark of the following trailer.

Take a look at it now. Watch it as many times as necessary and try to take a few guesses as to what it all means.
