Good Omens Trailer: Saving the World With David Tennant and Michael Sheen!

at .

It's the apocalypse, and the fate of the world rests on an angel and a demon.

That's the premise of Amazon Prime's new original series, Good Omens which unleashed its first teaser trailer during New York Comic-Con.

The series is based on Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch which was written by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.

David Tennant Attends Event

David Tennant and Michael Sheen are at the wheel of Good Omens, and we can't think of a better duo to ride out the end of the world with.

The teaser trailer shows the pair in action with Tennant taking on the role of demon Crowley and Sheen taking on the role of angel Aziraphale.

With the plan to bring the world to a grinding halt, the angel and demon join forces to try and stop the warring factions from destroying everything.

There's humor, solid acting, and high production values. The good thing here is that the series will span six episodes in its first season.

In today's climate, with so much TV to watch, shorter seasons are the way forward.

This show is also a co-production with the BBC. There's no confirmed premiere date aside from "2019."

The cast also includes David Morrissey, Jon Hamm, Michael McKean, Adria Arjona, Nina Sosanya, and Ned Dennehy.

Every small town has a secret. Ours has a game. The losers stay here where losing is what we do best. The winners get out. In Carp, Texas, out is the only place worth going. That’s why players risk their lives to win.
