If you've been watching Hap and Leonard: Mucho Mojo, and we hope you have, you know our favorite 80's duo has gotten themselves into yet another scrape without even lifting a finger.
When Leonard's uncle died, leaving him a house, it could have been good fortune.
Not when Hap (James Purefoy) and Leonard (Michael Kenneth Williams) are involved.
Not only was a decomposed body of a small child found under the floorboards the house, but when Hap and Leonard did the right thing, it didn't matter.
Forces are always against these good guys, matter how hard they try to be the men they are and want to continue to be.
They got a good look at the body. But when they called in the authorities, the body that was retrieved...
Well, let's just say it wasn't the same as it looked when it was first discovered.
Detectives don't always get it right, and Detective Hanson (Cranston Johnson) appears to be barking up the wrong tree.
In the clip below, he's taunting Leonard, trying to get him riled up. He wants to annoy Leonard to the point he says the wrong thing.
Hanson tells Leonard he thinks some men are stupid and others are lucky, but Leonard? He's just a criminal.
Strike three, Detective Hanson. You have it all wrong.
Cool Hand Leonard doesn't get ruffled at all. He may know the odds are stacked against him, but he has Hap to help him figure it out.
He has a true friend and the truth on his side. Williams plays it perfectly. You can tell Leonard is worried, but he's not going to let it show to some dumb as dirt detective who may be in on framing him.
He calmly reminds the detective he has bigger fish to fry and other very important items on his calendar.
For example, a date with one very handsome gentleman who he doesn't intend to go unattended.
Who is it and why does he need to go ASAP?
