Julie Plec Talks "Exceptional" Containment

Julie Plec is taking on a new challenge with Containment. Here she is, talking up the new CW series.

You may know Plec for her world of vampires and werewolves, but in Containment, she's taking us into a situation that could very well happen. Sure, she admits, we'd all love to have Damon Salvatore sneak into our beds at night through an open window, but who would we be if faced with a situation like that she's exploring in her new series?

It's a show about love and loss, friendship and loyalty, mystery and suspense. 

To top it off, there is at least one recognizable face. Chris Wood, who played the villainous Kai on The Vampire Diaries Season 6, is switching things up in the very adult role of a police officer inside the containment area.
