Marvel's Inhumans Trailer: There's Something About Medusa

OK you guys, the time is now to determine if you'll be spending your money in IMAX theaters on September 1.

What? You haven't heard?

Marvel's Inhumans, to premiere on ABC September 29, will first debut in IMAX on that very day!

The series has a pretty impressive cast, including we see Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Anson Mount as his brother, Black Bolt, Serinda Swan as his long-haired queen Medusa, and their royal court Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Ken Leung as Karnack, and Isabelle Cornish as Crystal.

They are all featured in the trailer below as Maximum attempts to steal the throne from his brother and his court.

Now, if you've been paying attention, you know this upcoming series costs a pretty penny to produce.

There are a lot of special effects. How cute is that overgrown pug above that swishes everywhere it moves? 

And Medusa's hair is ALIVE, you guys, so every frame it exists has to be touched. Can you imagine?

For those of you who watch the trailer below and think it was a cheap workaround to suddenly see the beloved queen in a decidedly undesirable state, well, think again.

And, READ THE COMICS.

Maximus is a bad dude, and he takes from Medusa the thing she holds most dear.

It must be a tragic scene, and I wonder if we'll see it play out high on an IMAX screen or if it will come later in the series.
