Outcast Preview: "(I Remember) When She Loved Me

If that cockroach scene from Outcast Season 1 Episode 1 was any indication, things are just beginning to get weird in Rome, West Virginia.
And weird is probably an understatement.
Kyle and Reverend Anderson may have been able to rid Joshua of the demon inhabiting the boy's body, but from the looks of this preview, that demon hasn't gone anywhere.
In fact, it looks like the demon has inhabited more than one person.
Maybe the whole town. Maybe it has split itself off into tiny little tendrils.
Demons can do that, right?
I guess if I had that ability, I would too, especially knowing your arch nemesis is back in town.
The most interesting aspect of this whole story is why is this demon so obsessed with Kyle Barnes?
Why is Kyle immune to being possessed by the demon? And why do tears and blood hurt this demon?
If Kyle left town, why couldn't the demon find him? Is it only able to possess in Rome?
It looks like we may be getting some answers, or at the very least, we're going to be getting a deeper look into Kyle's past, if this video preview is any indication.
The guy's mom is scary as hell. Those fast-moving special effects really creep me out.
And, who is the shadowy guy standing in his mother's doorway at the nursing home? Why are there shadowy men coming to visit her anyway.
Outcast Season 1 Episode 2 looks like it's going to be even better than the first hour!
You have no idea how badly I just want to open the comic book for this series and just start reading, but I won't. I really don't want to spoil the anticipation.
Isn't this a great series?! This show is badass, and it looks like it's only going to get better.
I meant it when I said I thought this might be the best show of the summer. It certainly has the top spot for me at this point.
(Yes, it even beats out Preacher right now, and I absolutely adore Preacher.)
I have to admit that I'm liking Phillip Glenister's performance as Reverend Anderson. I think I could watch and listen to him all day. His drawl is just phenomenal.
Are you prepared to be scared during the next hour of Outcast? If not, check out this video preview, and make sure you watch it with the lights on!!
