Queen of the South's Pote Creates a Cheignet

As Queen of the South Season 4 rolls out, Teresa Mendoza expands her empire further into the United States, as her crew moves to Louisiana.

Combining the cultures of Mexico and New Orleans could seem challenging, but not for Teresa's right-hand-man, Pote.

With the gift of a new cocina, Pote has been experimenting with something new. He's taking the Mexican churro and combining it with the New Orleans' favorite, beignet. 

Pote calls it the cheignet, a classic grilled pastry with a Mexican twist. Watch as he brings his creation to life.
