The Affair Season 2 Episode 1 Promo: It's Fictionary

Only a writer would be so bold as to use the phase "It's fictionary" to describe the novelization of his affair. Why? Because it's not a word, for one thing.

The other is, I'm guessing there is a lot more truth to Noah's novel than he's willing to admit. We're just about a week away from The Affair Season 2 Episode 1 and that means it's time to put on our thinking caps. How much of what we see will be fact and how much fiction?

Not just because it's written that way, but because it will be seen from so many different points of view. From what I can tell, we're going to see things from Helen's perspective in The Affair Season 2 premiere, and that's entirely different. And utterly welcome, if it turns out to be true.

Not only does she want Alison to stay far away from her kids (who can blame her), but she finally realizes how selfish Noah was during their marriage. 

And what about Det. Jeffries questioning Noah? Did Noan run down Scotty or is Jeffries just trying to get Noah to confess to something he didn't do? We can't wait to find out!

The Affair returns to Showtime Sunday, Oct. 4 at 10/9c.
