The Blacklist Season 6 Trailer: Who Will Save Red?

Is the end of the line for Red?

NBC has dropped the official trailer for The Blacklist Season 6, and it shows Red in a precarious position. 

The character has (finally!) been arrested for all of stunts he's pulled over the years, and it sure looks like there's no way out for him. 

"Sir, you are the Devil himself,” the judge warns, while a prosecutor confirms that he’ll be “held in federal prison until we execute you."

"Following the startling revelation that Raymond “Red” Reddington (Spader) isn’t who he says he is, Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) is torn between the relationship she’s developed with the man assumed to be her father and her desire to get to the bottom of years of secrets and lies," reads the official logline.

"Meanwhile, Red leads Liz and the FBI to some of the most strange and dangerous criminals yet, growing his empire and eliminating rivals in the process."

"All throughout, Liz and Red engage in an uneasy cat-and-mouse game in which lines will be crossed, and the truth will be revealed."

NBC previously confirmed that The Blacklist would be moving to Fridays, but the network has revealed it will get a two-day premiere with the first half airing Thursday, January 3, with the second half airing Friday, January 4.
