- Jack and Mel talk about her wanting a baby, and she regrets telling him even though he's glad that she did. He tells her has to think about it.
- Christpher prepares for a camp play and Preacher helps him. He also gives him advice on how to deal with Sam, a bully.
- Doc tells Mel that he's interviewing doctors to add someone on, and offers to let her sit in and interview with him.
- Jack tells Mike about what Mel said and how the thought of three kids gives him chest pains.
- Mel tells her sister about it too and regrets sharing because she knows it's a lot.
- Lydia wonders when Lizzie is going back to Connie's since she's a most difficult guest. Brie gets her prescription for Xanax filled.
- Charmaine comes to tell Jack that she got a luxury birthing suite Todd booked for her and that Todd wants to meet Jack for lunch or drinks to talk. Jack is busy with work, but Charmaine insists that if Jack declines Todd's offer, Todd will be offended, and it'll make things harder in the long run with the twins.
- Charmaine shows off her new car.
- Jack tells Preach that he should take fifty percent of the earnings from the big party they get because he's the one who brought in the business and that they should talk about the partnership again.
- Brie and Brady have sex again. He tells her that he had a meeting with aloan officer and needs a co-signer.
- Doc's interview with Dr. Hansen goes well.
- Jack meets up with Todd at some fancy country club, and Todd offers him a clean slate and money to adopt the kids and let Jack be pushed out of their lives permanently.
- Lizzie suggests that she and Ricky should move in together.
- Doc tells Mel that he's retiring. And she talks it over with Jack.
- Doc goes to check on Lilly and she tells him about the cancer. She makes him promise not to tell Hope and breaks down. He comforts her.
- Christopher is upset with Preacher when he tells him that he'll be late that night because of the big party coming in.
- Lilly with the help of Doc, tells Tara about her cancer and that she's dying.
- Doc gets upset when Jack brings up his retirement. He's pissed that Mel shared the news. He's also annoyed that he has to make a decision by the next day about Dr. Hansen.
- Jack has a flashback to the night he was shot.
- Mel goes to get Brie who overselept for their girls night. Brie mentions something about how Mel's hair reminded her of Mandy, Jack's ex-wife. Which comes as a surprise to Mel who didn't know about her. Brie collapses.
