Pete, Myka, and Steve team up with Steve’s US Marshall ex, Liam, to recover an artifact and catch a prison escapee. While investigating Steve and Liam are mostly distant, but when they are forced together their pasts come to light. Steve couldn’t get over the fact that Liam was constantly lying, and that his ability was a constant source of strain in their relationship. Liam didn’t want to be brutally honest about everything, and wanted to tell white lies to spare feelings. Instead, things only got progressively worse for both of them. After a near death experience and a little heroics from Steve, Liam and Steve do reconnect.
Artie and Claudia work to find an artifact that is causing Artie to hear classical music before eventually going deaf.
