Sundays on Paramount+Mayor of Kingstown Quotes
Police captain Moore: Kevin. Hey, you good?
Rookie Guard Jackson: Yes sir. I even hit the gate.
Moore: Yeah, that's right. That's right. Listen, your training was too accelerated. We all know it. The staff here. DOC. But we bled so much in the riot.
Jackson: I'm happy to be here, sir. Happy to serve.
Moore: Yeah. Your family in corrections?
Jackson: Incarcerated, sir, where I'm from.
Moore: Listen, so you're good with what you witnessed?
Jackson: I seen people die before.
Moore: Yeah. I was told that you tried to -- you tried to help the inmate.
Jackson: It wasn't a whole lot I could do.
Moore: No. It wasn't. Don't -- don't ever do that again, son. Ever.
Jackson: Yes, yes sir.
Moore: It won't be the last time you'll experience that violence. But it will be the last time you offer aid before the seniors secure and you have backup. You're lucky to be going home. You hear what I'm saying?
Jackson: Yes Warden.
Mike: Nobody touches fuckin' Bunny. OK, I want you to make it your personal fuckin' mission.
Carney: He is the biggest swingin' dick on this yard, Mike.
Mike: He's an ally who made good on his end, OK? So whatever the fuck happens to him now happens to you. Understand? He gets hurt; you're gonna get hurt. He bleeds; you bleed.
Mike: Listen to me. What do they need in here to make things right?
Bunny: Cheapskate's gotta get knocked off. My cousin will run point when I get out.
Mike: Yeah. What do you need from me?
Bunny: Backs turned, five o'clock tomorrow.
Mike: Jesus fuckin' Christ, Bunny. Looks like the plan's workin' out.
Bunny: I got no humor, Mike. Not a fuckin' lick.
Joseph: What are you looking for, Mike?
Mike: I'm looking for a lot of things, Joseph, but let's just keep that shit for another day, whaddya say?
Mike, when whore talks to feds, what do you think happens?
Joseph

Evelyn: You want me to arrest the leaders of the four worst prison gangs so they can reinstate a leadership structure inside the prison?
Mike: Exactly.
Evelyn: Do you have any idea how fucking insane that sounds, Mike?
Mike: You, more than anybody, know that the inside runs the outside, and nobody is running the inside.
My father used to say, I can't wait to get old, for my mind to soften, and my memories to rot away. The hardest thing to do is forget, forget the scars that life gives you, forget the scars you gave others. The challenge, then, is hiding a few memories worth keeping from your dying mind. He told me to keep a journal and only write down the good things. Then, when the bad things fade away, you can read about the happy life you had. But minds don't forget so easy, and the horror that we witness and endure takes root. Only madness and dementia can remove it.

Ian: He's gonna kill somebody.
