Nia Peeples needs to make one thing clear: she won't be appearing this fall on Dancing with the Stars.

"Guess what? It's a [rumor]! But everyone here in town is hearing the same thing you're hearing so don't feel bad,” Peeples said.

The Young and the Restless actress did, however, express happiness over having been considered for the show.

“The sad thing is I won't be on [Dancing With the Stars] this season. The good thing is a rumor means they are seriously considering [putting me on the show].

Also CBS called my agent in a panic when they heard, complaining that they were just starting to develop my character on [The Young and the Restless] and would be needing more of my time. The other good thing is that I can contractually do it next season.”

According to Peeples' website, her next air dates on the show are: September 17, 18, 24, October 1, 2 and 4.

Of course, soap opera fans will have one contestant to cheer for on Dancing: Cameron Mathsion from All My Children is signed up to do the fox trot, samba and more.
