Might Shayne Lewis be making another stop in Springfield?

A spokesperson for Guiding Light told Soap Central that the show is exploring the possibility of a return of the only son of Josh Lewis and Reva Shayne. This is far from a deal done, however.

"A casting notice for Shayne went out a few weeks ago and if we find an appropriate actor to play the part Shayne will return to the canvas later this year," a Guiding Light insider said.

If Shayne is react, it will be the seventh time such an action has been taken. The most recent actor to play Shayne was Marty West (pictured).
