Heroes Recap: "Angels and Monsters"

He's alive!

Forgive the immediate Heroes spoiler from last night - and hurry up and read a full recap from the episode to get caught up - but we're too excited by the ending of "Angels and Monsters" to keep it bottled up.

Arthur Petrelli, written off as dead following a supposed season one heart attack, was revealed to be the mastermind behind the gathering of villains on season three of Heroes.

Peter and Nathan's (and Sylar's?) father is seemingly incapaciated big time... but that isn't stopping him from ordering around another surprise returnee: Maury Parkman.

What else did went down last night on Heroes?

  • Nathan learned that he was given his abilities by The Company;
  • Peter was put into a medicated coma by his mother;
  • Daphne was charged with recruiting Parkman;
  • Mohinder killed Maya;
  • Claire questioned the motives of HRG;
  • And Hiro killed Ando. Wait... what?!?

Heroes Quotes

We are bad asses now!

Hiro

Hiro: Every ten year old wishes he had super powers. And I got them. Me of all people. Last in my class. Last on the sports field. I’m not a loser anymore.
Ando: Tell me one useful thing you could do with this power. Can you make money?
Hiro: A super hero doesn’t use his power for personal gain.
Ando: Then what good is it? Can you teleport yourself into the women’s bathroom? Now, there’s something useful. You won’t learn your "purpose" in there, but you might learn something about life.
