In the first-ever all-female finale on Project Runway, Leanne Marshall was crowned the winner of the show's fifth season last night.
A quartet of judges picked Marshall over fellow contestants Korto Momolu and Kenley Collins.
Series mentor Tim Gunn served as a guest judge after Jennifer Lopez dropped out due to a foot injury. All judges pointed to a wave-inspired collection draped in large panels of white, cream and shades of turquoise as a big reason why Leanne was named champion.
She won $100,000 to start her own line, among other prizes from the victory.
