Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt of The Hills fame are everywhere these days - and they are looking to add a few acting roles to their annoying resume.

A reliable source says one of TV's funniest sitcoms - which is also prone to stunt casting (see Britney Spears) - is close to making it happen for them.

Supposedly, Heidi and Spencer are getting set to guest star in an upcoming How I Met Your Mother episode, which would likely air in December.
