On the heels of Lindsay Price being cast in the ABC pilot Eastwick, Kim Raver has landed the female lead role in Inside the Box, the new Shonda Rhimes pilot.
Moving away from hospital after creating two hit medical dramas Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice creator is using a Washington news bureau as the Box setting.

In Box, Kim Raver will play a "knockout blond reporter who once was considered the next Diane Sawyer." No word on whether Kim's character will be making passionate love to her ghost ex-fiance in the pilot or if Shonda will hold off on that until Season Five.
Previously cast on Inside the Box were Martin Henderson, Jason George and Sarah Drew.
