Ratings Report: Idol Defeats Lost
Matt Richenthal at .Matching up against Lost wasn't exactly a challenge last night for American Idol.
The Motown-themed show earned 25.6 million viewers, actually picking up four million during the 9 p.m. hour.
Among other primetime pickings:
- Lost (8.8 million viewers) managed a second-place finish in the 18-49 year-old demographic at 9 p.m., ahead of Criminal Minds (14 million), the night's most-watched scripted series.
- Scrubs (5.3 million) did okay, but Better Off Ted (4.7 million) dropped off from its premiere.
- America's Next Top Model (2.8 million) was down approximately 1 million from last week.
