Premiering on ABC on September 24, FlashForward will attempt to answer a number of questions:
Why does everyone on the planet blackout for over two minutes? Are their visions of the future accurate? What steps will be taken to find out?
We've seen the pilot, "No More Good Days," and we can report that it's well worth sticking around for the entire hour. The episode's suspense and tension increases with each segment.
Without revealing anything too significant, here are a few series premiere spoilers to keep in mind:
- The episode's title is actually uttered by Mark Benford's daughter, who suffers from nightmares;
- When Mark flashes ahead six months, he's wearing a friendship bracelet. When this installment ends, his daughter hands him that same bracelet, confirming the accuracy of his vision;
- Aaron Stark can't believe what his flash forward reveals: his wife Tracy, alive and well, despite his ongoing belief that she was killed in Iraq;
- The episode concludes with a check of security cameras. Indeed, everyone around drops like a fly at the same time... except for one man, dressed entirely in black, that is seen walking among the unconscious bodies.
