TV Ratings Report: Huge Premiere for Curb Your Enthusiasm

Sunday was a strong night for HBO.
The eighth season premiere of Curb Your Enthusiasm earned that comedy 1.7 million viewers, a 53 percent increase over the previous season opener. Our critic gave it a perfect rating.
Elsewhere on the network, True Blood bounced back from a worse-than-usual July 4 weekend episode. Around five million people tuned in to watch Eric devour Sookie's fairy godmother this week.
