Following what many considered to be an uneven third season, with an especially unwelcome finale (Cathy abandons her family?!?), The Big C will have a chance to make things right.
A shortened chance to make things right.
Showtime President David Nevins announced at the Television Critics Association press tour today that the Laura Linney-driven drama will return for just four Season 4 episodes. Each will be an hour long and no premiere date was announced.
The Big C is just the latest Showtime series to receive a death sentence.
Weeds will ends its final season on September 16, while Dexter will almost definitely wrap up next year and Nevins also hinted today that The Borgias will wrap up after Season 4.
