Once Upon a Time may have taken this past Sunday off, but the ABC favorite is at least here with some rather significant scoop.

As Emma and Mary Margaret plot their return to Storybrooke, Jennifer Morrison tells Entertainment Weekly that "quite a journey" lies ahead for mother and daughter, along with David and Henry trying to assist them.

Why? Teases the actress: “They’re trying to keep [Cora and Capt. Hook] out. It’s like, ‘How do we bring back Emma and Margaret and keep out the other ones?’”

Morrison also previews “a pretty major cliffhanger” in store to conclude Episode 9 of Once Upon Upon a Time Season 2, with Raphael Sbarge adding that "big, explosive things [are] coming for Archie."

Cora and Hook face off with Mary Margaret and Emma in a race to secure the compass, which will point its holder to the portal into Storybrooke. But back on the other side, Regina and Mr. Gold, desperate to keep Cora out, put a plan into action that would kill anyone entering the portal - placing Mary Margaret's and Emma's lives in danger as well.

Meanwhile, back in the fairytale land that was, Captain Hook travels to Wonderland and meets up with a vengeful Queen of Hearts.
