As How I Met Your Mother creator Carter Bays teased in an earlier interview, the February 4 installment of his beloved CBS sitcom will delve into the past of Robin Sparkles and will feature an "astonishing lineup" of guest stars.

And now we know about whom the producer was speaking.

In a special video, the series has announced that such famous Canadians as Alan Thicke, Jason Priestley, Paul Shaffer and Alex Trebek will stop by early next month. Also making his return as Robin's ex-boyfriend, Simon? American James Van Der Beek!
