Kristin Bauer van Straten: Returning to Once Upon a Time!

She may have just said goodbye on True Blood, but fans of Kristin Bauer van Straten won't need to miss the actress for very long:
Entertainment Weekly confirms that she's headed back to Once Upon a Time as Maleficent.
Sources tell the magazine that Bauer van Straten will appear prominently on the second half of the upcoming season, prompting speculation that Maleficent will be the key villain on the series in early 2015.
We already know, of course, that Once Upon a Time Season 4 will center around Elsa, Anna and characters from Frozen over the first 13 episodes or so.
But producers have made it clear this will be a closed arc and another central storyline will take its place for the back half of the season.
The last we saw of Maleficent, meanwhile, she was locked away in a cave under the clock tower, stuck in dragon form until she was killed by Emma in the season 1 finale.
She then came back (in zombie-ish form) toward the end of season 2.
Once Upon a Time Season 4 kicks off on September 28 at 8/7c on ABC.
