So Meredith laments while being held by Alex on Grey's Anatomy Season 11 Episode 1, "I Must Have Lost It On the Wind."

Creator Shonda Rhimes, of course, has pretty much said the chasm between Meredith and Derek - he wants to go work on D.C.; she does not want to join him - will not be "marriage ending," but the first promo for fall installments makes it clear that both sides of the relationship will be struggling.

Big time.
