But the occasion was cause for more of a confrontation than a celebration, as the young man announced that he no longer has to follow house rules.

"I'm a grown man, that means a couple things," he said at one point. "Like no curfew from now on. It's done. I'm gonna come and go like from the house when I want. You gotta let me fly. I'm a peacock."

And Todd, of course, completely accepted this as fact... NOT!

Instead, the patriarch gathered his family around and responded to Chase's speech with one of his own.

"None of the things that you just asked for are you going to receive," he said. "Because you still live at home with your mom and dad. So your curfew is 12 'o' clock. Nothing is open after 12 except legs and the ER. And you're gonna stay out of both of them."

Best speech ever? We think so.
