The spirit of Boston was very much invoked on Top Chef Season 12 Episode 3.
First, the contestants took on another Sudden Death Quickfire Challenge, this time using tea to enhance their dishes for guest judge Ming Tsai. (Because of the Boston Tea Party and everything.)
Then, the home of the Boston Red Sox, Fenway Park, hosted its first-ever culinary competition, as an Elimination Challenge tasked the chefs with using ballpark snacks to come up a fine dining dish.
It was subsequently served right on the historic field.
Joining the judges this week were Baseball Hall of Famer and former Red Sox star Dennis Eckersley, along with Boston Globe sports columnist Dan Shaughnessy
