Ready to be scared well into 2016, Showtime Fanatics?
The network has confirmed a third season for Penny Dreadful is on tap, as new episodes will start filming in Dublin this fall.
Said Showtime President Phil Nevins upon making the announcement:
“John Logan’s brilliant writing and this amazingly talented ensemble continue to draw a passionate, global fan base into the meticulously crafted world of Penny Dreadful.
"Together with our wonderful partners at Sky Atlantic, we’re excited to see what new haunts John and his team have in store for season three.”
Penny Dreadful Season 2 will wrap up on Sunday, July 5; while Season 3 will be comprised of nine episodes.
