TV Ratings Report: Shades Of Blue Premieres Decently For NBC

The American Idol Judges' new show, Shades Of Blue started well with 8.6 million viewers and a 1.8 rating among people 18-49.
Elsewhere on NBC, Heroes Reborn returned with just 3.7 million viewers and a 1.0 rating. After that, The Blacklist managed 7.5 million viewers and a 1.6 rating.
And elsewhere around the dial:
- On Fox, American Idol managed 10 million viewers and a 2.7 rating, dipping a little from its season opener, but still very strong for Fox.
- On CBS, The Big Bang Theory (15.7 million/3.8 rating), Life In Pieces (9.4 million/2.2 rating) and Mom (8.8 million/1.8 rating) were in line with recent airings, but Angel From Hell (8 million/1.6 rating) debuted weak. Elementary (6.2 million/1.2 rating) rounded off the night.
- On ABC, Beyond The Tank (4.3 million/1.0 rating) and My Diet Is Better Than Your Diet (2.5 million/0.7 rating) were both weak.
- And on The CW, it was encores of The Vampire Diaries (0.8 million/0.2 rating) and The Originals (0.5 million/0.2 rating).
