TV Ratings Report: Grey's Anatomy Up
Paul Dailly at .ABC's Grey's Anatomy continues to defy the odds and turn in some solid results.
A two hour episode of the veteran drama secured 8 million viewers and a 2.2 rating among people 18-49.
After that, The Catch squandered the improved lead in support and slumped to 4.8 million viewers and a 1.0 rating. It's hard to imagine ABC renewing the series unless the numbers turn around in the next few weeks.
And elsewhere around the dial:
- On The CW, Legends of Tomorrow (2 million/0.7 rating) and The 100 (1.1 million/0.4 rating) were even.
- On Fox, Bones (4.4 million/0.9 rating) returned low and the premiere of American Grit (2.4 million/0.8 rating) stumbled out of the gate.
- On NBC, Strong (3.2 million/0.8 rating) and Game of Silence (4 million/0.8 rating) dropped, but The Blacklist (6.6 million/1.3 rating) ticked up.
- And on CBS, an encore of The Big Bang Theory (8.5 million/1.5 rating) led into The Odd Couple (7.2 million/1.5 rating), Mom (7.5 million/1.5 rating), 2 Broke Girls (6.3 million/1.5 rating) and Rush Hour (4.3 million/0.9 rating).
