TV Ratings Report: The Good Place & Pure Genius Tick Up

The Good Place is continuing to make a case for a second season renewal. 

NBC: After returning last week down a bit, The Good Place (3.6 million/1.1 rating) perked up. Superstore (4.3 million/1.2 rating), Chicago Med (6.8 million/1.2 rating) and The Blacklist (5.3 million/1.0 rating) were steady.

Fox: Hell's Kitchen (3.9 million/1.2 rating) was solid, but the premiere of My Kitchen Rules (2.6 million/0.9 rating) was not. 

CBS: An encore of The Big Bang Theory (10.2 million/1.9 rating) topped the night, while The Great Indoors (7.3 million/1.4 rating) , Mom (7.3 million/1.3 rating) and Life In Pieces (5.9 million/1.2 rating) took a hit. Pure Genius (5.2 million/0.9 rating) ticked up. 

ABC: The Great American Baking Show (5.1 million/1.0 rating) hit a series high in the demo. The National Museum of African American History and Culture (5.3 million/1.0 rating) special was solid. 

The CW: It was encores of DC's Legends of Tomorrow (1.1 million/0.3 rating) and Supernatural (0.8 million/0.2 rating).
