TV Ratings Report: Chicago Justice Launches Well

at .

NBC launched the third spin-off of Chicago Fire last night and the results were positive.

NBC: Chicago Fire (9.1million/1.7 rating) aired in place of Blindspot and the numbers were double what the sophomore drama's most recent episode turned in.

Chicago PD (9.6 million/1.9 rating) and Chicago Justice (8.7 million/1.7 rating) were all pretty strong. Maybe NBC should continue to do crossover episodes. They work.

The CW: Arrow (1.6 million/0.6 rating) recovered from last week's series low and The 100 (1 million/0.4 rating) was stable.

Fox: Star (3.4 million/1.1 rating) slipped to a series low out of an encore of Lethal Weapon (3.3 million/0.7 rating).

ABC: The Goldbergs (6.1 million/1.7 rating) and Modern Family (6.4 million/2.0 rating)were on par with recent ratings, but When We Rise (2 million/0.6 rating) remained a dud.

CBS: Hunted (4.8 million/1.2 rating) was even, while Criminal Minds (6.5 million/1.2 rating) slipped to a new low in total viewers and matching a low in the demo.

An encore of Bull (4.1 million /0.7 rating) closed the night.
