TV Ratings Report: How Did Midnight, Texas and Somewhere Between Perform?

at .

There were two series premieres on the broadcast networks last night, but how did they perform?

First up, NBC's Midnight, Texas (3.6 million/0.9 rating) debuted decent results out of American Ninja Warrior (5.7 million/1.4 rating).

It's a good figure for summer programming.

Response to the series has been mixed, so it may struggle to keep up with the premiere ratings over the coming weeks.

Over on ABC, Somewhere Between (3.1 million/0.6 rating) debuted out of The Bachelorette (6.3 million/1.6 rating), but it was just a tenth higher than Still Star-Crossed's embarrassing debut.

Elsewhere, So You Think You Can Dance (2.8 million/0.7 rating) and Superhuman (1.8 million/0.5 rating) were both even, while Whose Line Is It Anyway? (1 million/0.3 rating) perked up.

What did you think of the two new series? Do they deserve better ratings?
