Once Upon a Time is back next month, and details are continuing to emerge by the day about the show's highly anticipated return. 

In case you've been living under a rock, we'll give you a little recap on what's going on with Once Upon a Time Season 7. 

The show will be rebooted with the sole regulars returning being Lana Parrilla Colin O'Donoghue and Robert Carlyle. 

The reason? A brand new curse and location will advance the narrative of the series in a big way, but that's not to say Henry Mills is forgotten. 

In fact, he will be older and married with a child, so yes, we are taking to the future. 

Now, according to TV Line, TURN veteran Meegan Warner has been cast as the new version of Rapunzel.

New versions of the fairytale characters are nothing new. 

Dana Ramirez has already been announced as the new Cinderella, while Rose Reynolds has been tapped to appear as the new Cinderella. 

The new iteration of Rapunzel will find herself trapped in a tower by magic, and will have to keep her wits about her to make an escape. 

Her arc will also include her getting revenge on the evil sorceress who thought it was a good idea to imprison her in the first place. 

Meegan is currently tapped to appear as a guest-star. 

Everything we hear about Once Upon a Time Season 7 sounds good.

The show needed a refresh, and this sounds like a step in the right direction.

Will fans embrace all the changes or will their version of the show have ended with Once Upon a Time Season 6?
