TV Ratings Report: For The People and Rise Dip

For The People (2.7 million/0.6 rating) slipped 25 percent from last week's weak premiere in the demo, and it is now on par with what Kevin (Probably) Saves the World turned in for its final few installments.
Will the Shondaland brand be able to keep the show around? Well, it worked that one time for The Catch.
Elsewhere on ABC, The Middle (5.8 million/1.3 rating), Fresh off the Boat (3.6 million/1.0 rating) and Black-ish (3.9 million/1.0 rating) recovered.
NBC: The Voice (10.8 million/2.1 rating) was on par with last week's result, but Rise (5.5 million/1.1 rating) shed a tenth moving an hour earlier. The show needs to stop dropping if it has any hope of sticking around long-term.
Chicago Med (6.9 million/1.2 rating) closed off NBC's night by losing two-tenths.
The CW: Black Lightning (1.5 million/0.5 rating) inched up in total viewers, but remained steady in the demo.
Fox: LA to Vegas (2.2 million/0.6 rating) slipped, while The Mick (2.1 million/0.7 rating) inched up.
