TV Ratings Report: New Amsterdam Has Solid Debut

Ryan Eggold fronted medical drama, New Amsterdam, launched to 8.4 million viewers and a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49.
This is up over 2 million viewers vs. the debut of Law & Order: True Crime in the slot at this time last year.
Before New Amsterdam, This Is Us returned with 10.4 million viewers and a 2.9 rating. This is way down from the premiere of This is Us Season 2, but up slightly from March's season finale.
The Voice secured 9.8 million viewers and a 2.1 rating.
Over on CBS, the season premiere of NCIS was down two-tenths to 12.4 million viewers and a 1.4 rating.
The series premiere of FBI held well with 10.1 million viewers and a 1.3 rating, while NCIS: New Orleans had 8.9 million viewers and a 1.0 rating.
The Gifted returned down a little from its season finale with 2.6 million viewers and a 0.9 rating.
The revamped Lethal Weapon debuted with 3.5 million viewers and a 0.8 rating.
Finally, Dancing with the Stars continued its descent, slipping to 6.5 million viewers and a 0.9 rating.
