TV Ratings Report: The Grammys Steady with 2018

The 61st Grammy Awards aired on Sunday night, and the telecast was mostly stable vs. 2018.
In preliminary ratings, the awards show secured 18 million total viewers and a 5.0 rating in the demo.
This was mostly on par with last year's early results.
In the finals, the 2018 edition scored 19.8 million total viewers and a 5.9 rating in the demo.
We'll need to wait until the finals come out to find out how it compares to the above figures.
NBC ducked the competition with an airing of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
It scored 2.6 million total viewers and a 0.5 rating in the demo.
Fox opted to air originals of The Simpsons (1.9 million/0.7 rating), Bob's Burgers (1.7 million/0.7 rating) and Family Guy (1.8 million/0.8 rating).
All three shows suffered big drops.
