Sam Axe was a former Navy Seal and because he does not have a lot of money, he spends a lot of his time sleeping with rich Miami women for food and shelter.
Sam also used to be a spy, and is still friends with his “former” co-worker Madeline Westen; he is semi-retired, “the guy that knows a guy”. He and Fiona had a feud for a while because Sam ruined a shipment of hers, which ended up with her losing a large amount of money. However, they have a more friendly relationship now, and Sam even goes to her for women advice.
