Recap

Hank wants to find Teonna a boy's name. They pick Joe.

Once Hank's son eats and sleeps, they'll send him for Teonna's father.

They burn everything from the school.

Hank is unsure if they should burn the bible. He spent time in prison, where they read the prisoners a passage every day.

Out of fear of God's wrath, they decided to bury them instead.

The cops have a warrant for Teonna's arrest. They're pushing around her grandmother, guns drawn. Apparently, this story isn't going to get any better from this aspect.

One of the assholes pushed grandma backward. She hit her head and is dead.

Spencer emerges from the overturned tugboat. He's crying out for Alex, but she's not emerged yet. Alex begins pounding on the hull, and Spencer swims below and inside to find her. Thank goodness we already know they both get out, or this would be too hard to watch!

Once on top, Alex wonders how long it will float. It won't matter if they don't have water and shade. Spencer goes back under for supplies and gets an armful of them.

When he gets back on top, Alex is gone. She's out in open water, and Spencer has to retrieve her. The boat is floating faster than they can swim, so they have to push it.

Alex says this is not how she thought she'd die, and Spencer says that's because they won't. Spencer gives her the good news about his communication with the ship before they went down. They have to hope help is on the way.

Jacob is well enough to wander around the ranch with a cane. He says the damn bed drained all of his strength. He tells Zane that Spencer will be home in about nine weeks. In the meantime, ask around about who will join them on a posse. Zane says most of them left for California.

Cara is interviewing people for the livestock agent job, and the first guy is smart mouthing Cara and indignant that she dare speak to him as she does. So, Jack cracks him upside the head, and Sheriff McDowell suggest the little man doesn't have the temperment for the job, ushering him out.

The second fella is a bit more amenable. He's got his own property and knows that thieving is out of control all over. He was a cop in Chicago. He left because of the stench. He wanted the wide open plains. He says that he don't know what hell is, but it can't be worse than Chicago.

They've only gathered three so far, and Jacob said they needed 20. The sheriff says they have plenty of time, but Cara says they most assuredly do not.

Spencer and Cara are burning up. The fish, meanwhile, are collecting in the shade below the boat. That brings sharks. They've been in the water for six hours. The ocean has adapted to it. People aren't that smart, Spencer says. Alex begs to disagree. Spencer says that no matter how this shakes out, this was his last tugboat ride. Alex, tears streaming down her face, refuses to be afraid. She will not allow it. Spencer says it isn't their fate. But the 20 foot shark circling the tug might think otherwise.

Jacob and Cara are outside, where he shows her a road being cut in the side of the mountain. She says he can no longer spit in the face of modern advancements.

Jacob says they're bustin' a mine right above the Yellowstone's water supply. They own the property to the north and to the south with the hope of squeezing the life out of them.

Just then, the Sheriff and some other men arrive. Cara did it for him, she says, so don't be mad. The Sheriff is annoyed that he is just hearing about Banner's incident. He's angry that Jacob didn't come to him. He says Wyoming already had a range war, and they aren't having another. They need to give statements to the deputies.

He turns his back on her, and Cara won't take that she says when he wanders out with a rifle. He says he suffered the most, but she wonders how the hell he would know when he slept through it all? Cara fed him and wiped his ass. She dug the graves. She says they had to give up vengeance to survive. Will his pride show her the same courtesy?

Jacob is determined, though, and makes a valiant effort to saddle his horse. He's damn proud once he's astride and on his way.

Jack is checking out the growing baby inside of Elizabeth, but he's not so sure since she sure doesn't look pregnant. He wonders how she knows. She knows enough. As he rubs the scar from her wound, she says that's the past, and the baby is the future.

He wants to have sex. She can't get more pregnant.

Jacob returns, shouting out that they can hear them. Then he turns to Cara, asking her to imagine Boston or New York without the cities. That's what will happen to this place. They'll build cities and ruin another paradise. That's why he wants to kill them.

Alex wakes to the horn of a passing ship. Spencer shoots into the air hoping they're scene, but the ship doesn't seem to respond. Then, the lights pan around. they may be seen!

Soon, a dingy arrives. They're saved!!

Once aboard the ship, Alex asks for a drink. The captain wonders if they retrieved the captain's log, but Spencer says that was the last thing on his mind.

The Captain has never heard of Montana, but when Spencer describes it, he says his journey is only just beginning. Spencer asks for him to marry them. The captain says it's illegal to marry for immigration reasons. But he sees that they are not doing it for that. He retrieves a box of rings, and when Alex can't find one, offers his dead wife's ring for her to use.

They are married in a tiny ceremony that is absolutely perfect for them.

A sailor prepares a wedding gift of champagne and grapes and whatnot and shows them to their room, where they shower and make love and immerse themselves in each other.

And yes, to the commenter who said I was wrong about the word ravaging, that's most assuredly what Alex calls their love making.

Next, Spencer take Alex aboard to do the whole Titanic thing. That's when Alex discovers there's no electricity or plumbing on the ranch. She wonders what his dream might be. He says he has none. She says it's in their vows that he tell her everything he's thinking.

He thinks everything they've been through was a sign that he should return her to where he found her, but he's too damn selfish to do it. She says she's following him to the ends of the earth. They are one.
