Opens with a Firelights rap song. Vi and Caitlyn are bagged and bound. Someone comes in and grabs Vi.

Vi is unbagged in a room with the Firelight Leader. He unmasks and it's Ekko.

They reconnect.

Singed examines samples under a microscope. He's curious about the Hexcore. He offers Viktor a variant of Shimmer.

Jayce works a forge. Mel arrives. He shows Mel the grenade Marcus gave him. Jayce is feeling guilty for forcing Heimerdinger into retirement.

Sevika is reporting to Silco on how the border shutdown is affecting business. Silco believes it's to keep Vi and Caitlyn from returning to Piltover. Silco goes to look for Jinx. Sevika offers him advice on giving Jinx space.

Jinx is hearing voices again. She remembers Caitlyn's name.

Ekko leads Vi to an outdoor space. It's a haven for addicts and victims of Shimmer. He tries to convince Vi that Powder's gone.

He shows her a mural of all the people lost from Zaun.

On the bridge, Enforcers beat back the protestors. Viktor is sitting at the side. Jayce comes to fetch him. He's upset that Viktor violated the blockade and calls the people from the undercity dangerous. Viktor is hurt.

Silco is summoned to a meeting of chembarons. They challenge his ability to lead. Sevika dons a mask and opens a gas valve. Silco circulates, offering masks. He holds off on Finn's, letting the man collapse first.

Elora tells Mel that people overseas think Piltover is vulnerable. Mel isn't ready to push Jayce into military action. She also gives Mel a letter sealed with her house insignia.

Caitlyn's bag is removed and chains unlocked. A masked child offers her water that she knocks away. Ekko is watching. Caitlyn offers her life for Vi's until she realizes Vi is there and free. Ekko says that she can go home.

Silco prepares to administer his own shimmer. Jinx suddenly appears to help him with it. He tries to explain how Vi's still alive. He tells her Vi and Caitlyn only came for the gemstone. She jabs him in the eye with the shimmer and disappears.

Caitlyn admires the outdoor space. Ekko accuses the Enforcers of hunting Firelights. Caitlyn doesn't believe Silco's paying the Enforcers. Vi defends her. Ekko shows Caitlyn the gemstone. She wants to take it back topside but he stows it.

Caitlyn explains what it is. She offers to help him return it so that they can end the violence between the cities.

Viktor dismantles the grenade, admiring the workmanship. Mel proposes that Piltover prepare for war using Hextech to power weapons. Viktor is against it. Jayce considers.

While Viktor continues to tinker, Jayce reads, and Ekko leads the women back towards the city. Heimerdinger stands, shrouded, in the city streets.

Viktor administers the Shimmer he was given. He cuts himself and reaches for the Hexcore but it reaches back and drags him in. It transforms something in his blood.

As they cross the bridge, Vi stops and wants to go back for Powder. Caitlyn hugs her and Jinx sees this. Vi walks back to Zaun.

Ekko and Caitlyn are blinded by spotlights. Caitlyn tries to tell Marcus about what she's discovered about Silco. Ekko goes to show the gemstone but realizes it's Marcus and tries to stow it again. Marcus shoots him, picks up the gemstone, and aims his gun at Caitlyn. Vi is running back. Jinx is having a crisis. The firelight bugs swarm in from of her, landing on the Enforcers. They detonate anything they land on.

Jinx arrives. She shoots an Enforcer. Marcus dies. Vi continues running towards them and finds Caitlyn. Jinx picks up the gemstone bag, sees Vi helping Caitlyn and opens fire. Ekko comes flying at her and reclaims the gemstone. He throws it to Caitlyn and tells them to go. Jinx scoffs at his heroics.

Ekko and Jinx square off, remembering how they'd challenge each other as children. When they engage, Ekko has the upperhand but he hesitates and Jinx detonates one of her grenades.

Vi and Caitlyn pause to look back at the explosion. Jinx is unconscious. Ekko's watch is broken.
