Recap

Daphne returns home as the family rallies around Eloise's room.

She is preparing for her debut, and she is not impressed with it.

Anthony is ready to court, but he has such a lofty list of demands that he can't find the person he thinks worthy of the Bridgerton name.

His mother tells him that his demands are absurd. He spends his days searching for a prospective wife, and his nights paying women to sleep with him.

He has a chance encounter with Kate Sharma, and she's clearly not that into him.

Kate says it how it is throughout the episode, providing an exciting commentary on the events in town.

Her sister, Edwina is preparing to court, but the Sharma name has been dragged through the mud due to Lady Mary leaving in scandal and marrying a clerk.

Lady Dansbury takes on the family and tries to help them through it.

Dansbury tells Kate that she knows she was sneaking out at night and would prefer if she was open and honest with her.

Dansbury sympathizes with the Sharma family and manipulates Queen Charlotte into naming Edwina her diamond.

As Anthony attends the event, he says that she is who he should marry, or so that's what his mother hears.

He's clearly talking about Kate, who quite simply cannot stand the ground he walks.

The Featheringtons are struggling with the naming of the new lord.

Their staff has diminished and they have no money, but things take a turn when a much younger lord appears at the end of the episode and tells Lady Featherington he has cleared out her room and paid her daughter's dowry.

Penelope resumes her gossip column at an increased price.

She puts on an Irish accent and sneaks out to the printers to get it in everyone's hands, all the while still pining over Colin.
