Martin and Lisa, an aging farm couple, are attacked by something likely alien. A working theory develops that the military took Sarah. World President Benya  Motabe is concerned about the new hunter-killer aliens. Nikhil points out that adaptation is to be expected during wartime. Benya charges him with finding something that will affect the new aliens. Nikhil wants Mitsuki to do whatever she has to to reach the alien entity again. Aneesha is worried about Luke's state of mind. Luke blames himself for Sarah's abduction. It appears Sarah is being held at Camp Pierce. Aneesha blames herself and Clark as well. Rose is hiding Trevante at her house. She questions if Casper's drawings will make a difference. Then she recognizes a drawing of a scarecrow in the notebook . Mitsuki is hearing a sound no one else can hear. She can hear the alien again. Luke is writing "Wajo." Ryder attempts to console Luke. Hanley has figured out who Aneesha is. Clark covers for her. His speech carries the day. They're planning a rescue attempt for Sarah. Rose and Trevante find Martin muttering, "Wajo." Mitsuki hopes to get the alien's attention by disrupting its magnetic field. Maya tells Mitsuki she'll pull her out to protect her survival. Mitsuki finds a frequency that hurts the alien. It takes on the shape of a younger version of Hinata. Martin says Lisa was pulled upward. Soldiers show up and take Martin while Trevante and Rose hide in the cornfield. Aneesha thanks Clark for lying for her. The alien doesn't understand why humanity is resisting them. Nikhil refusing to pull out Mitsuki since she's communicating with the alien. Mitsuki takes off her glove to touch it. It envelops her and she hears Casper. As Maya and Nikhil pull out Mitsuki, she says, "They're out there."
