Recap
Prescod is telling Ross about how he thinks the world is being overrun by Skrulls.
Ross is denying it and telling him they can't bring Nick Fury from space to help if they don't have concrete evidence.
Ross tells him to hand over his findings and a scuffle ensues. Ross shoots Prescod and rushes off, but he's pursued.
An unknown man chases him, across the city, up buildings... until Ross jumps off a roof and dies while trying to grab onto the building across the way.
Maria Hill is there and shows up, ready to fight back, but the man chasing him is revealed to be Talos and the man she believed to be Ross? A skrull.
Nick leaves S.A.B.E.R. behind and heads down to Earth to meet Maria. Everything has changed in his absence and he's determined to find out what's happening.
Maria and Talos loop him in on all the changes, but he goes off on his own and is kidnapped by MI6 agent Sonya's men. She tells him that he's not ready for this fight and she concedes that he's struggling to be the person he was post-Blip.
He plants a bug in her office and hears her talking to her men about locations. The team assembles and goes after a man they believe to be making bombs for the Skrulls.
They learn that he is a Skrull and Talos wants to fight him alone and not to harm him, but Nick shoots him, something that irks Talos.
Maria follows G'iah and almost gets killed. Talos arrives and says it's his daughter but she's stoic.
He tells her that her mother is dead and it barely registers with her. Later, she tells her dad and the group there are bombs headed into the world the next day.
She vows to tag them with infrared. Gavik is there the next day and the bombs go off, but he poses as Nick and kills Maria in cold blood.
