The body of a doctor who was working on deadly diseases is brought into the lab after her mysterious death. The team is reluctant to do the stitch because of the work the doctor was involved in, but Maggie assures everyone the body has been checked and there was nothing detected. Kirsten is stitched into her mind and sees the doctor inject herself with a deadly virus and inject herself, seemingly, with the cure but the cure isn't working. Kirsten is taken out of the stitch quickly and the team tries to figure out what the doctor was working on. Unfortunately, things don't go smoothly and it turns out while the body was frozen, the virus stayed doormat and when she was brought in to stitch, the virus became active forcing the entire lab to be shut down. Linus is the first one to fall ill and the team tries to work hard to find the cure. Things go from bad to worse when it becomes clear the entire team is becoming ill and there are no signs leading to a cure. Maggie tells everyone they need to call the people they love and say their last goodbyes. Cameron, Maggie and Linus all call family members and have one last conversation with them while Kirsten continues working on a cure and Camille states the people she cares about are already in the lab with her. In the end, Kirsten is figures out the cure the doctor took actually works, but it is only activated by high heat. They send Detectived Fisher to go and get the cure and Kirsten's theory is proven right. Don't feel bad if you missed out!
