Roderick attends the burial of several of his children.

Detective Pym stares at the case board when he learns that Roderick is asking for him. So he goes to the address given.

They sit and drink expensive liquor, and Roderick offers to give his confession.

Roderick tells the story of growing up with a single mother, he and Madeline. They think her boss is their father.

Their mother gets sick and refuses medicine, saying Jesus will heal her.

They go to Mr Longfellow to talk to him, and he kicks them out. Their mother dies, so they bury her in the backyard.

Later that night, during a massive thunderstorm, their mother breaks from her grave, goes to the Longfellow's, and kills him. She then dies again.

Roderick says he loves his children and would let them in on his kingdom if they pass a DNA test.

In court two weeks prior, Detective Pym makes his case against the Usher family because they sell toxic drugs.

Pym reveals that the prosecution has an informant inside the family, sending shock waves inside the family. The children discuss who might be the mole while in their respective residences.

Fredrick talks with his daughter and wide about the mole.

Leo cheats on his boyfriend with a fan.

After the courtroom revelation, Roderick calls all his children for a family meeting. He has a new, very young wife.

Prospero pitches a business venture to his father and aunt, and they shoot him down.

Roderick keeps seeing a woman who is not there.

The children gather, and Madeline warns them about talking to the police. If the mole is caught, they will be killed.

In 1979, a young Madeline and Roderick meet Verna at a bar and have an interesting conversation.

Back to the funeral day, Roderick is haunted by ghosts of dead people. He nosebleeds and passes out.
