As Elijah spends time locked inside his own mind, alone, facing the monster within, Hayley and Marcel team up with Cami to put a stop to Finn's magic. Cami convinces him to go on a date with her and then allows herself to be attacked in order to lure Finn to the church where Finn nearly bests them all. They receive surprising help from an unexpected ally and Hayley delivers Finn to the compound for questioning.

Kol spends time with Davina and tells her some of his secrets. During his time as a human, he had an affinity for magic which none of his siblings possessed. He was distraught when Esther turned him into a vampire as it meant he could no longer be a witch. He learned to make dark objects as a way to use magic without practicing it.

He begins to earn Davina's trust and then Marcel ruins that by setting Kol up.
