Jack (Peter Bergman) complains to Ben (Billy Warlock) about the op-eds in the papers. Sharon (Sharon Case) is still adamant they not go public with the tape that proves Victor (Eric Braeden) was the source of the leak.

At the hospital, Dr. Webb tells the Newmans plus JT (Thad Luckenbill) that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is currently stable and that there is a 50 percent chance that the baby will have severe disabilities.

Cane (Daniel Goddard) is at work, daydreaming about hugging Lily (Christel Khalil).

At the GCAC, Colleen (Tammin Sursok) is at work, and Lily tells her that she's entering the Jabot contest.

Amber (Adrienne Frantz), wearing a huge red wig and sunglasses and trying to talk like a 45-year-old chain smoker, sidles up to Kevin (Greg Rikaart).

He doesn't recognize her, and when she reveals her identity, she tells him that she's going to try to enter the Jabot contest, incognito. Really.

Sharon, Jack and Ben listen to the tape of Victor and Ji Min. Sharon tells Jack to take a few days before deciding what to do with the tape, but Ben says that they have to go public with it now.

Daniel (Michael Graziadei) comes over with some files Jack needed. Sharon decides to go to the hospital before they all have to go to Madison for Jack's senate ethics committee hearing.

Nikki (Melody Scott Thomas) asks both Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) whether they think she did the right thing in fighting for the baby. She's afraid that her grandbaby is not going to make it,

Amber and Kevin arrive at the GCAC to see if she can hoodwink Cane as she thinks she can by masquerading as a prostitute. We'll see if this idea cuts it.

Daniel asks if he can go to Madison so that he can give more support. Jack agrees. Ben suggests one more time that he should release the tape, and reminds him that women are his weakness so not to listen to Sharon.

Sharon rushes over to the hospital and gets an update from Victor.  She tells him that no matter what happens between him and Jack, she wants to remain friends.  He is appreciative and gives her a hug.

Cane is chatting up incognito prostitute Amber, who claims to be a travel writer and just came back from the Australian outback. Cane says that he'd like to read one of her articles. Amber drops her phone, Lily and Cane recognize the phone as Amber's, but Kevin tries to cover for her.

Victor Newman finally admits to Nikki that he doesn't want to fight anymore and understands why she did what she did. Sharon and Nick tell JT about when Noah was born.

Cane and Lily make cute with discussions about music. He compliments her on her beautiful smile, and tells her to smile just like that when she submits her tape for Faces of Jabot.

Maggie (Tammy Lauren) talks with Paul (Doug Davidson) when Ben Hollander runs in and gives her the audio tape. He tells her that there will be enough evidence to begin investigating Victor Newman.

Nikki is devastated that Victoria may never wake up.

Sharon and Jack continue to bicker. Paul comes back and Maggie tells him that she had Zapato's hair tested and it's a closer match, and the tape further corroborates Victor as another suspect.
